Boy are we glad...

We moved to California. There are plenty of reasons good and bad for living in California. This post is about 1 reason why anyone would love living in Central California. YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK!

Grandma and Grandpa Lewis visited us for Thanksgiving so we decided to make the 100 mile drive to Yosemite the day after Thanksgiving. It was a breath taking drive and that was before we even entered the park. The scenery inside the park is beyond words. I think we found our new happy place in which to escape. All of a sudden we are ready to become hikers (okay at least Ben is). These pictures don't even do justice to what it looks like in person. As you can see the weather was perfect. The one picture we couldn't get were of the rock climbers on the face of El Capitan. They were getting ready to spend the night on a 3,000 foot rock cliff! We can't wait to go in the spring when the falls are roaring from the melting snow!

If anyone decides to come visit we would love to be a tour guide.

Hey Nat and Ben, we started a blog about a year ago and never did anything with it. I am not sure how to invite friends onto my blog site. Can you help???

We are there! We have been wanting to come see you and my friend that moved up that way for FOREVER. We might be able to make it happen next summer after the babe, or maybe around Octoberish. We expect no dull moments and every ounce of yours and Ben's attention :-) It'll be so much fun! hahaha, love ya Aub
PS Happy Late Thanksgiving.

Wowee kazowee. Yosemite is on our list of "things to do" in Cali while we're here, but since we're nowhere near as close we haven't made it yet. Looks like we need to make it a priority!
